In 1975, Dan and Ron Shimek started a company based on a simple idea: to create a cozy fire at the touch of a button. Their company grew to become its own category in the home products industry: Heat-N-Glo. In 2000, the Shimeks moved on with a different idea: to create an outdoor grill that would take the guesswork out of grilling.
